Acute appendicitis within a femoral hernia: multidetector CT findings.Fukukura Y, Chang SD Department of Radiology, Abdominal Division, Vancouver General Hospital, 855 West 12th Avenue, Vancouver, BC V5Z 1M9, Canada. yoshihiko2002jp@yahoo.co.jp We present a case of surgically proved acute appendicitis strangulated in a femoral hernia sac. Multidetector computed tomography with multiplanar reformations was thought to be helpful in evaluating acute appendicitis in a femoral hernia sac.
